  Welcome to the Terms of Agreement (the "Agreement" or "User Agreement")

 Usage of our site and order of our products assume acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, we are sorry to see you go but you must agree in order to use or access our services.***

This Agreement states the terms and conditions that apply to your use of our services available to you under the domain and sub-domains of http://www.jamaicastores.com   (the "Site") and the general principles for the websites of our sponsors and affiliates. To use this site you must be over the age of 18 years or where applicable, under the guidance of a parent or responsible adult. This site requires users to give us or our authorized payment agents contact information (a valid email address, telephone number and address), unique identifiers (such as a password) and demographic information (valid zip code). As a site, we do not collect or have access to your financial credit/debit card information as our payments are securely processed by reputable payment processors like PayPal who will require and safeguard your financial information.*** Our terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and the changes indicated by astericks***. Other than our payment processors, we will not turn your information over to a third party without your consent.


Prices & Description of Products

Where a typographical error may have occured in pricing or description of a product, the seller reserves the right to withdraw from sale, the product in question and make a full refund, or re-offer the product at the new price given the customer's consent. The pictures shown do not represent actual size and are the best graphical representation.  We will not be held responsible for slight variances in size and colour that are due to pictorial representation. Wooden products have natural variations while dutchpots and coal stoves have natural blemishes and some roughness due to the process of making them.**

Where applicable in our food department, substitutions for products of equal or greater value may be used where a similar ordered item is unavailable. However, we would normally contact you to give you a choice where there is a significant difference in price or quality.** At times, a product may be out of stock and we will offer the customer an equal or greater substitute or a full refund.



Processing Time is normally 2-3 business days in addition to shipping times and excludes weekends and Jamaican public holidays, unless the customer is otherwise informed of other delays such as with custom ordered goods. All our handmade dress are custom made and may require an additional 2 business days.*** Please note that your order can arrive anytime within the delivery guidelines barring any delays from the postal service or customs.

Couriers: 2- 5 business days (depending on your location)

Express Service: 5-9 business days

Standard Service: 10-20 business days

Economy Service: 14-30 business days


After your order has been processed and your payment has been confirmed and received, You will be notified by mail. You will receive the date your order is shipped, estimated delivery time and if applicable the tracking number of your order.Your shipping rates rates will vary depending on your location and the weight of the package and the shipping method chosen***. Please see Shipping Policy our for shipping times and the checkout cart has the shipping and handling rates for each item.

By checking out and clicking Terms & Conditions, the customer agrees to the following:

  1. You must complete the returns form before a return is sent back to us and be assigned a RMA number. The customer is responsible for return shipping UNLESS we made an error in sending the product or the product is damaged.
  2.  Free goods on such order will either be charged for or the items returned to us unopened and undamaged before we make the refund. ***
  3. Partially refunded orders will affect discounted rates. If customer makes a large order and then plans to return part of the order, the discount becomes rescinded and the customer beomes liable to pay the difference between the full amount of the order and the dicounted value of the order. We have had to take this stance as some unscrupulous persons make large purchases, access discounts and then try to return some items thus unfairly benefitting from discounts on the smaller purchases in the order.***
  4. If the product is damaged, the customer will have to show pictures of the damage before making the return.
  5. The customer is responsible for checking the products they are ordering to make sure that the size, quantity, colour or other characteristic is what you would want. If the customer simply changes his or her mind, or ordered the wrong item, then the customer will have to unfortunately have to pay the costs for sending the item back to us and pay to have the order resent.  
  6. All returns unless caused by a fault of ours or as a result of a damaged good, will incur a restocking fee of 10%. The products in the jacket category (jackets/hodies) do have a 15% restocking fee.
  7. Once the customer if given a tracking number, the customer has the responsibility to track the product and ensure that the product is collected. If the customer does not collect the product and the product is returned to us internationally, then the refund will be less shipping charges.(outbound & inbound)*. In the case where the customer did not collect the item and the item is not returned to us and we have proof that the post office made the necessary attempts to deliver the order, the customer forfeits the right to a refund.
  8. The customer must provide ACCURATE address. If the address is inaccurate or incomplete, then the customer can receive a refund for goods returned to us but the refund will be less all shipping charges.*

In some cases, we will try to reduce the burden on the customer by shipping the item to a US address. The refund will be done only after we have received the product and the product is in the same state as when it was shipped.**



Customers are responsible for paying any duties accrued on their purchases. Cusotmers also need to check the legality of products being ordered into their countries.
